THE PURPOSE OF THE EDUCATION PROGRAM
The aim of the program is to increase the knowledge and skills of the individuals involved in the palliative care course for the first time and to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of patients and families in need of palliative care.
AIMS OF THE EDUCATION PROGRAM
Participants who successfully complete this program will:- Know the purpose, philosophy and principles of palliative care.
- Identify the palliative care needs of the patient and his/her family.
- Plan and practise training in accordance with the need for palliative care.
- Inform the patient and his/her family about the criteria for admittance to the service.
- Plan the discharge from the hospital of the patient and his/her family.
- Establish interdisciplinary communication.
- Are aware of interdisciplinary working difficulties and can create opportunities.

EDUCATORS
Faculty members of Bezmialem Foundation University Palliative Care Centre and experts in the field will participate in as educators in the course.

EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS
Educational documents were prepared using the literature in the light of current information All education documents will be given to participants on the day the education begins.
SUCCESS CRITERIA
A preliminary test will be conducted in the beginning followed by a final test at the end of the education. Participants must score at least 80 on the final test and be successful in practice to be considered successful.
Attendance to whole of the education is mandatory.CERTIFICATE
Participants who have completed the course in accordance with the course success criteria are awarded "Participation Certificate" at the end of the course.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
This course can be attended by health professionals working in palliative care and oncology clinics of all public and private health institutions or who give or will give care to palliative care patients.

THE PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
The purpose of this program is to explain how the principles that make up the content of the program and facilitate the preparation of the training, while active duty physicians, nurses and other health workers in the palliative care service provide palliative care education and to increase the skills of the educators and to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of patients and their relatives.
AIMS OF THE EDUCATION PROGRAM
Participants who complete this program will:
• Create an educator program.
• Communicate with educators effectively while providing educations.
• Know the training methods for educator education.

EDUCATORS
Experts, who are responsible for the education of educators and have expertise on education subject, will participate in as educators in the course.
